Throwback
to 2011.

In 2011, Dmytro Umen and Ihor Nosach started the company out of an addiction to building bright software. To them, assembling the team and fine-tuning the workflow was like playing with LEGO: a creative project they enjoyed for its own sake.

This led to collaborations with brands like Mastercard, Microsoft, Pepsi, and Danone: large companies open to experimenting with interfaces. We were using machine learning back then too, long before it became mainstream.

Today, the team has grown to 120+ specialists working with SMBs, enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies across more than 30 countries. The work has changed shape many times since 2011, but the standard has not: we build software our clients keep using, and keep referring to peers.

We can be pretty demanding during interviews. Our specialists know how to evaluate algorithmic complexity and can explain how the Internet works under the hood. This might seem excessive, but such an approach allowed us to make Brights a perfect place for smart, proactive people. Brights is the tech partner of Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, one of the most influential charity funds focused on supporting the Defense Forces of Ukraine and civilians affected by the war.

Spreading awareness

We are responsible for the tech side of platforms like World for Ukraine, Russia's Losses, and Leave Russia, aimed at spreading awareness of Russian crimes in Ukraine.

Raising funds

Our team continuously participates in raising money for dozens of fundraising initiatives for military personnel, including those who have been part of our team or are close to our teammates.
