NAVI

Natus Vincere (NAVI) is a Ukrainian esports organization. Currently, it has rosters for CS:GO, Dota 2, Valorant, Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, PUBG, and Halo Infinite. NAVI has gained massive global recognition for its outstanding performance in Counter-Strike and Dota.

Our team was requested to develop a platform that would serve as a valid source of information about the organization, tournaments, match results, player profiles, and the latest news. The platform was aimed to become a hub for the fan community, offering live match streams and a forum for discussions.

During the platform's development, one of the most challenging aspects of the project was integrating with Abios, a company providing real-time esports data and technologies. With a historical database of over 9 years, Abios offers in-depth statistics, results, content, and upcoming matches with data visualization. Once our team completed the integration, the match pages for CS:GO started to display real-time data, such as the map pool, players' K-D (kills and deaths) ratio, and round scores. For Dota 2 matches, it showcased hero picks and differences in gold and experience. This integration has allowed NAVI fans to delve deeper into the game's statistics and better engage during matches.

Another crucial aspect to consider regarding esports-related projects is the frequent DDoS attacks. To address this issue, our team developed a well-thought-out protection system based on CloudFlare. We made it possible that during peak moments, such as match broadcasting, the website can handle up to 20 million requests simultaneously.

​​Broadcasts from Twitch
Using REST API and web sockets, our team implemented a seamless way for fans to watch matches and events. The integration with Twitch has enabled a smooth viewing experience, keeping fans engaged and connected with the team's performances without leaving the NAVI site.

Forum integration and support
We have integrated a forum to promote interaction and engagement among fans. We also provide continuous support and maintenance to the forum by introducing new features and improvements to enhance the user experience and ensure a lively online community for enthusiasts.

Calendar of matches
To keep fans up-to-date with upcoming matches and events, we have developed a dynamic and user-friendly calendar of games. This feature enables visitors to access schedules easily and view match dates, times, and opponents in an organized format.

The new website has become the go-to destination for NAVI fans. After we implemented the much-anticipated mobile adaptation, there has been a significant rise in site traffic, with more users spending time on key pages. With the integration of Abios, the audience can now enjoy online translations with comprehensive game statistics and visually appealing graphics. Our team has worked hard to protect against DDoS attacks so regular users can enjoy uninterrupted engagement. Overall, we are proud to be a part of the Ukrainian esports community and contribute to its growth.
