ProCredit Bank

ProCredit Bank needed a new, human-centered website that matched its scale — one its own team could manage without waiting on developers for every change. Brights ran a full discovery phase, then built a custom 200-plus-page site on Payload CMS with bilingual content management and accessibility standards as a core requirement. We also designed account-opening and visit-booking flows around the Bank's exact processes, integrated into its internal systems. Within months, organic traffic grew by 285%.

About the client

ProCredit Bank is a German development-oriented international banking group headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, focused on small and medium-sized businesses and private clients. This project was delivered for the German Bank in Ukraine, one of the markets ProCredit Bank has operated in for over two decades, and one that happens to be the country Brights calls home.

As the branch grew, its website needed to keep pace. The previous site no longer aligned with ProCredit Bank's corporate identity, and frequent content updates required looping in the development team. Account opening and visit booking ran through third-party tools that worked, but couldn't be shaped around the Bank's processes the way a purpose-built flow could.

What we set out to do:

  • Design a site that reflects the Bank's corporate identity and scale

  • Give the Bank's team full control over content and page management, without developer involvement

  • Build account-opening and visit-booking flows around the Bank's own processes, integrated with its internal systems

  • Meet accessibility standards across the entire site

ProCredit main about

Designing for structure and accessibility

Design started with a full discovery phase: competitor comparison, information architecture work, and tree testing to validate the new structure before a single page was built.

Accessibility shaped the design from the beginning. Each page was created in multiple variants so the client could see exactly how it would look and behave under different accessibility settings. Those variants informed the final design decisions.

What makes this project stand out

A CMS that works like a website builder

Built on Payload CMS, the platform works as a fully customized website builder behind the 200-plus-page site. The Bank’s team can create, edit, publish, archive, and remove pages on its own, adjusting text, visuals, and layout through flexible content components that adapt as the site's needs change.

The solution supports full bilingual content management, so the team can manage localized versions of every page directly from an intuitive admin panel. It also includes media libraries and document repositories built to handle large volumes of files, archived materials, and downloadable resources — the kind of content banks accumulate constantly.

The CMS also handles content that changes by the day. A live currency exchange widget on the homepage pulls updated USD/UAH and EUR/UAH rates without any manual intervention.

Accessibility woven across the entire site

Our goal was to make a solution that works for as many people as possible, by design. That commitment shows up as a dedicated accessibility control panel, visible on every page, where users can adjust font size, font type, letter spacing, and color scheme, hide images, and stop animations. The site also supports screen reader use and full keyboard navigation, covering the range of ways people actually interact with a banking website.

Custom flows for account opening and visit booking

Instead of relying on third-party solutions, we built the account-opening and visit-booking flows from the ground up for ProCredit Bank. These integrate directly with the Bank's internal systems and follow the security standards, configurations, and compliance requirements that banking demands.

Visit booking is powered by Microsoft Scheduler, with every booking entered into the Bank's CRM via API and the full booking flow handled by Brights on the backend. A Leaflet integration shows customers exactly where each branch is located on the map.

Interactive forms for loans, deposits, and more

Interactive forms for loan applications, deposit applications, and other banking services were built directly into the site, allowing customers to move through these processes online rather than switching to another communication channel.

Calculators & quote tools

Deposit and loan calculators handle the Bank's full calculation logic, factoring in rates, terms, and loyalty program conditions to give customers an accurate quote before they apply. The Bank's team can update calculator settings directly from the admin panel, without developer involvement.
